He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy J. Helf and Myrle Hatch Helf; and his grandson Mathew. He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Dirst, Carol Helf of Ogden, UT and Christine Helf. He is also survived by one brother; two sisters; seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
