He was predeceased by: his parents, William Walter and Alice Ruth Thompson (Dupier); and his sister Peggy Lloyd (Melvin). He is survived by: his children, Billy August Thompson (Maggie) and Heather Leigh Thompson; his wife Kathy Elizabeth Redford (Thompson); his grandchildren, Shelby, Nevaeh, Roper and Sawyer; and his siblings, Allen Thompson, Lois Woodward (Bob) and Billy Thompson (Kathy). He is also survived by great grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews.

The family is asking for donations in lieu of flowers to help with his funeral & medical expenses that has built up over the last year.
