He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Fred Nichols and Clara Nichols (Nickerson); his siblings, Fred and Barbara; his son Robert; his grandsons, Gregory Brown, Little Clarence Mosley and Michael J. Smith; and his son-in-law Bill Lewis.
He is survived by: his former wife Maxine Cornia; and his children, DeWayne Nichols (Kaloa), Jerrie Hendrickson (Richard), Colleen Kae (Michael Morr), Donald Jr, Butch Nichols (LaDean), Brenda Robinson, Trudy Torrez, Steve Nichols (Teri), Jolleen Lewis, Rocky Titmus (Tricia), LeeAnn Castrodale (Jay), Patricia Burrows (Joe), Tonya Smith (Bob), John Titmus, Todd Titmus (Tammy), Donna Petersen (Paul) and David Nichols. He is also survived by 50 grandchildren, 78 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
