With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cody Ottley (Evanston, Wyoming), who passed away on December 12, 2019 at the age of 44. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Floyd, Loretta Staley, Robert, Sandra Ottley and William Trout (Joe); and his cousins, Casey and Tib Ottley.

He is survived by: his significant other Janeen Russell; his partner's child Isayah Saavedra; his daughter Annastie Jo Ottley; his parents, Shauna Ottley and Parke Ottley; his son Isayah; and his siblings, Tuesdey Pelkey (Guy Pelkey), Sam Ottley (Aubrey Padgett), Bobbi Nebeker (Tyrel Nebeker) and Darbie Gennaro (Myles Gennaro). He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews; and many, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and brothers.

“I was so sorry to hear of Cody's death. My name is Jeanne Williams and I am the mother of Jared Olbricht. Jared and Cody were such great friends, true Marine Corps buddies. Jared suffered from PTSD and took his own life on September 2, 2015. When I told Cody about Jared's death, he said he would come here for the funeral and he did. Cody's presence meant so much to me and my sons, Jared's three brothers. Cody was a good man. His death leaves the earth a sadder place for his absence.”
