He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hofer and Hertha Hofer; his brothers, Fred Eugene Hofer, Wayne Hofer and Jay Hofer; and his grandsons, Carl Mathew Gray and Tommy Lee Kidman.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Lue Hofer; his children, Cindy Hickey (Joe), Bonnie Montague, Jana Olson (Dennis), Lucy Bowns (John), Neil Hofer (Gracy), Mistie McGovern (Bruce) and Casey Hofer (Becky); and his siblings, Sue Stadmiller, Dolores Platts and Grant Hofer. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren along with some bonus grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Sage Street LDS Chapel (201 Sage St, Evanston, WY 82930). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Lyman City Cemetery Cemetery.
