He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Otto and Ludvina Margaret Wimmer (Weber); and his siblings, Vernon, Lorraine, Theresa, Victor, Charles, Marion and Francis.
He is survived by: his former wife Marjorie Ann Gilbert; his wife Darlene Wimmer of Dubois, WY; his children, Richard J. Wimmer of Minneapolis, MN and LouAnne Smith (Tom) of Egan, SD; his granddaughters, Lisa and Carrie; and his siblings, William, Leonard, Thomas and Margaret. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
