She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Dwayne and Aura "Jean" Hicks (Parsons); and her siblings, Mark and Margaret Hicks. She is survived by: her former husband Monte Nelms; her husband Jerry McNulty of Douglas; her daughters, Kimberly Palmer (Randy Gergen) and Samantha Grinstead of Minot; her grandsons, Tyson and Brennor Grinstead of Stanley; and her siblings, Ronnie, Mike Hicks, Karen Walton, Pamela Prouty, Barb Banks and Diana Hicks.
