He was predeceased by: his parents, Phyllis Wanda Shuler (Gusman) and Donald "Benny"; his father-in-law Gail Gayman; and his brothers, Larry Shuler and Bruce Shuler.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Gail Gayman of Douglas; his children, Jason Shuler (Jennifer Berg) of Casper and Rebecca Winterbottom (Jason) of Windsor, Colorado; his siblings, Donald Shuler Jr. (Sharon) of North Platte, Wanda Cart of North Platte, Joyce Miller (Bill) of Douglas, Jerry Shuler (Kristy) of Douglas and Peggy Rinehart of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Mason Shuler, Abbigail Winterbottom, Ariel Anderson and Ashlynn Elkins; his mother-in-law Maxine Gayman of North Platte; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Salmon, Judy Gayman, Teri Jo Pokorny (Jim) and Dale Gayman (Vicky). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
