It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kyla Louise Depietro (Douglas, Wyoming), who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Kyla Louise farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kyla Louise is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her mother Doris Louise Johnson (Libertus). She is survived by: her father Howard DeWayne Johnson of Gillette Wyoming; her significant other James DePietro; her siblings, CJ Johnson of Gillette, Wyoming, Traci Johnson of Nemo and Kelli Jo McIntosh (Mickey) of Dickinson; her sons, Derek Bohlander (Kristi) of Douglas and Shane Bohlander (Austin Heath); her stepson Jaise DePietro of Casper, Wyoming; and her grandchildren, Nora and Austin Bohlander of Douglas.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Ruthe James Williams Center - Wyoming State Fairgrounds (400 W Center St, Douglas, WY 82633). A reception was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Samuel Mares American Legion Post #8.
