He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Marie; his parents-in-law, Lester Wintermote and Grace Wintermote; his son James A. Middleton; and his siblings, Lois Josephine Middleton and Joe M. Middleton.
He is survived by: his son Jeffery A. Middleton; his wife Peggy Middleton of Douglas; his son Jeff Middleton of Douglas; his grandchildren, Oscar W. Middleton, Jennifer Middleton, Nicole Heany and Darla Middleton Christofferson (Chris) of Nutrioso, Arizona; and his siblings, Ethel H. Hoskovec of Golden, Rita Russell of Douglas, Benny R. Middleton of Douglas and Richard A. Middleton of Douglas. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
