He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Frederick and Florence Eugenia Gossard (Hart); his wife Jean Ann Boyens; his sisters, Hazel Mae Papke, Marie Gladys Domina, Lillian Ruth Jacox, Wilma Marian Painter and Shirley Ann Dillon; and his granddaughter Sarah Ann Florence Rust.
He is survived by: his pet Jenny; his children, Charlene Ann Rust of Jackpot, NV, Randy Marvin Gossard of Diamondville, WY, Linda Jean Gossard of Colorado Springs, CO and Lori Allison Gossard of Whitewater, CO.; his grandchildren, Stacy, Cara, Allison, Ashley, Tiphanie and Hailey; and his great grandchildren, Sarah, Lance, Brennan and Danica.
