With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Thorald Thornton of Diamondville, Wyoming, born in Stockton, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2024 at the age of 70. He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldine Thornton (Barnes) and Thomas Thornton; his stepmother Majorie Thornton; his grandsons, Elmer Lee Charles Stiles and Lyncon Hall; and his stepbrothers, Tony Carteret and Tracy Whitten.
He is survived by: his wife Tammie Carmack; his stepdaughters, Pamela Holwuttle (Aaron Holwuttle) and Dawn Dahl (Dakota Cartwright); his son Matt Hall (Christine Hall); his siblings, Bonnie Shoup (Jerry Shop) and Tom Thornton (Jackie Thornton); and his stepbrothers, Terry Whitten, Rory Whitten and Chuck Carteret. He is also survived by numerous grandkids and great grandkids, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Kettle Restaurant (307 US-189, Kemmerer, WY 83101).
