It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Bree of Cody, Wyoming, who passed away on October 21, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer George and Jane Edith Bree (Smith); his parents-in-law, Ken and Viola Beenblossom; and his son Michael G. Bree II.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Sue Beenblossom; his grandson Gabe; his children, Matthew (Anissa), Skylah and Gabriel; his granddaughters, Emery and Ella; his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Lees and Carla Schweizer (Eric); his siblings, Paul Bree (Carol) and Sally Bree; and also Andrew Watts. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many life-long friends.

“I first met Mike when he was a Lieutenant with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office In Libby, Mt. I was a RCMP Constable with the Fernie Detachment and had come down a day before for the International Policemans Ball in Libby. I was staying with Daryl and Theresa Anderson and we were all invited to your place on River Road for a BBQ. I recall that you were great hosts to us Canadians and I seem to further recall that several beer were consumed that evening. My Condolences R.S. (Bob) Poland,”
