He is survived by: his sisters, Virginia McElderry and Betty Jackson; his children, Gary Gillis, Jeremiah Gillis and Nancy Dupont; and his grandchildren, David Gillis, Kaylene Widlund, Felicity Gillis, Christina Dupont and Nichol Dupont.
