He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter R. Hoffman and Beverly J. Hoffman (Nye); his grandparents, Manuelle Schultz, Walter Claire Nye and Vesper E. Nye (Arnold); and his daughter Lisa Cortez (Chambers).
He is survived by: his wife Joan Hoffman (Baird); his children, Jared R. Hoffman (Marla) of Cody, WY, Michelle Weathered (Hoffman) of Mansfield, TX, Brian Chambers (Teresa) of Lovell, WY and Holly Lester (Andy) of Florence, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Alexis Heaton, Giabella Hoffman, Teryn Cortez, Ashleigh Chambers, Sam Chambers (Samantha), Brianna Chambers, Bryan Lester (Savannah), Chadwick Lester (Alicia), Nathan Lester (Nate) and Lettie Lester. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
