He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Wright and Lilly Wright (Nugent); his wife Joan; his children, Pam Jackson (Pat), Sherry Nordland (Mark) and Eric Wright (Jaci); his grandchildren, Russell Jackson (Jordan), Abby Perry (Tyrell), Brian Hicks (Amber), Jessica Hicks, Danny Nordland (Kerry), Mallory Musser (Forrest) and Cameron Wright (Gabbi); his great grandchildren, Kya, Keira, Mersades Jackson, Orrin, Randall Perry, Cole, Kasi, Chase Hicks, Alexis Nicholson, Emma, Will Nordland, Charlie Musser and Tuck Wright; and his brother Bill Wright (Linda). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
