I can still hear Bernice singing up toward God, and feel her cool hand in mine. We are are lonely sometimes in this life. Bernice stole the loneliness away and replaced it with breath from her sincere and delicate heart. My life is enriched by knowing Bernice; and my heart labors in poverty knowing she is gone. JWC”
