He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos and Marion; his sister Jackie; and his grandson Gregory. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Ray (Peggy), Pamela (Jarrod) and Ann; and his grandchildren, Misty (Herschel), Christopher (Ashley), Alex and Shelby (Gerard). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
