Richard Futa Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Futa (Cheyenne, Wyoming), born in French Camp, California, who passed away on April 24, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Masaki and Miyo Futa; his parents, Shiro Ogasawara and Chizu Ogasawara; and his sister Joyce Sogabe.

He is survived by: his daughter Midori Spatz (Craig); his grandchildren, Alfred Spatz and Ashley Spatz; his siblings, Larry Futa of Nevada, Kent Ogasawara (Raquel) of Nevada, Shirley Yoshioka of Nevada and Arlene Ogasawara of Cheyenne; his niece Marla Marlow (Lee); and his nephew Larry Futa (Kanako).
