Lucinda Wethington Obituary

We bid farewell to Lucinda Wethington of Cheyenne, Wyoming, born in Fort Benning, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 14, 2024 at the age of 80. Lucinda touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aleita G. Lewis and Herbert C. Lewis; her husband Walter Wethington, Jr.; her daughter Deonna Marie Acree; and her brother-in-law Michael Rumley.

She is survived by: her daughters, Aleita Kay Butterfield and Valerie Mae Johnson (Pat); her grandchildren, Jeremy Bradford, Greg Luegering, Christopher Butterfield, Cody Luegering, Mariah Adams and Amanda Luegering; and her sister Wanetta Sue Rumley. She is also survived by two daughters, multiple nieces and nephews, six grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Little Ivy Chapel (430 S Quebec St, Denver, CO 80247). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Fairmount Cemetery (430 S Quebec St, Denver, CO 80247).
