He is survived by: his former wife Dorothy Hayes of Torrington; his children, Lee Tony Hayes and Tammie Lynn Hayes; his grandchildren, Shelby Gregory and Ethan Martin; and his great grandchild Hanna Gregory of Cheyenne.

His contributions to the lives of his family members were many over the years.
