He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Schoene and Letha Schoene; his wife Lois Schoene; his sons, Walter (Anna) and Gary Schoene (Lori); his grandchildren, Megan, Hunter, Skylar (Jazzy), Ryann and Grant; his great grandchildren, Hailee, Justine, Wayne and Evelyn; and his siblings, Keith Schoene (Jeannie) of Burns, Virginia Schoene and Ruth Schroll.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts an be made out to Davis Hospice Center.
