Joan Anderson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Anderson (Cheyenne, Wyoming), who passed away on March 9, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Anderson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Anderson (Nichols) and Everett Anderson; her sister Susan (Jacobson); and her brothers-in-law, Donald Jacobson and William Semple.
She is survived by: her sisters, Judith Semple (Semple) and Margaret (Brown); her brother-in-law Kermit Brown; her uncle Clark Nichols; and her nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Victor (Justin), E. Lindsay Semple (Debora), Erik Jacobson, Erin Jacobson and Nichols. She is also survived by son cousins, great nieces and nephews, and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (220 W 22nd St, Cheyenne, WY 82001). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Torrington Cemetery.
She was named the 2022 Outstanding Alumna for the UW School of Pharmacy, honoring her many contributions to the education of future pharmacists.
