Jay left this world on January 17, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kyle Luce and Dorothy Luce (Gardner); his wife Ann Luce; and his former wives, Martha Luce and Connie Luce.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Teaver, Sarah Luce-Reeder, Eric Luce and Chris Luce; and his stepson Michael Moore. He is also survived by other extended family and countless friends.
