The world bids farewell to Jay A. Kivisto of Cheyenne, Wyoming, departing on January 9, 2025 at the age of 78. Jay leaves behind memories cherished by the community. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jorma Kivisto and Gertrude Kivisto (Mantere); his sister Sue Mulry; and his nephew Skeeter White. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Kivisto; his sons, Jason Kivisto (Jamie) and Richard Schneider (Traci); his grandson Brayden Kivisto; his sister Sandra White; and his siblings-in-law, Cathy McIntosh, Chriss Bridwell and Bob Ainslie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at 1303 E Pershing Blvd, Cheyenne, WY 82001.
In honor of Jay and his love for animals, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Black Dog Animal Rescue or the Cheyenne Animal Shelter.
