She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Sherwood and Lily Sherwood; and her husband David C. Lockman. She is survived by: her sons, Rex (Robin) of Cheyenne, Clint (Heather) of Green River and Dusty (Erica) of Island Falls; and her sister Margaret Schaaf (Phill). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her teaching career, Janet worked with David on various wildlife projects through their consulting business and traveled extensively to promote outdoor wildlife expos for the Weatherby Foundation for more than a decade.
