With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald E. Porter Sr. of Cheyenne, Wyoming, born in Seneca, South Dakota, who passed away on March 17, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Susan Porter and Joe Porter; his siblings, Vira, Richard and Robert (Elaine Porter); his children, Connie Grensteiner and Shary Porter; and his son-in-law Ed Greinsteiner (Kitty Cofield).

He is survived by: his son Jerry Porter Jr.; and his grandchildren, Mandy, Jerry, Justin, Brandy, Jason, Lacey, James and Melana. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
