It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Ivan Mercer (Cheyenne, Wyoming), born in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming, who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Mercer and Marie Mercer; his siblings, MaryLynne Wilhelm, Sharon Kittleson, Maureen Hape and Dr. Thomas Mercer; and also Elva Mercer.
He is survived by: his wife Vida Haines; his children, Mark (Terri), Lisa Trusty (Billy) and Paula O'Hare (Patrick Schott); his grandchildren, Jeremy Baker, Kate Mercer, Meghan Dahill, Kasie Trusty, Patrick O'Hare and Lauren O'Hare; and his siblings, Corinne Keogh (Gary) and Gary (Diane). He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (1808 Hot Springs Ave, Cheyenne, WY 82001).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Food Pantry, 206 Van Lennen Avenue, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82007, or to a charity of your choice.
