He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite Ebert and Charles Ebert. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Ebert (Beattie); his children, Toni Billings (John), Tim Ebert (Jayne) and Tami Updike (Russell); his siblings, Caroline Anderson (Dale), Leonard Ebert (Sharon), John Ebert and Marg Magnet (Dale); his grandchildren, Lexi Elm (Cory), Hudson Billings (Felicity), Jade Updike and Chris Gardner; and his great grandchildren, Grace and Parker Elm. He is also survived by numerous step grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A prayer was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (710 E 2nd St, Casper, WY 82601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patricks Catholic Church (400 Country Club Rd, Casper, WY 82609). A reception was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Patrick's (400 Country Club Rd, Casper, WY 82609).
