With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jay Winfield Wright in Casper, Wyoming, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Nixon and Rolond Nixon. He is survived by: his wife Grace Wright; his stepdaughters, Kristy Rise and Michelle Sharp; his grandchildren, Grace Aragon, Milo Aragon, Skyla Gonzales, Bonnalyn Carver and Abagail Carver; and his great grandchild Loomis Pearce.
A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery (80 Veterans Rd, Evansville, WY 82636). A reception will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Bustards Funeral Home (600 CY Ave, Casper, WY 82601).
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions, 319 S Wilson, Casper WY 8260.
