James Raymond Bassett Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Raymond Bassett of Casper, Wyoming, born in Torrington, Wyoming, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 25, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hal Bassett and Lorraine Bassett (Walker); and his wife Betty. He is survived by: his children, Sonya Wolff (Tracy) of Casper, Perry Bassett (Sharon) of Colorado Springs, Michael Bassett of Evansville, Kendall Bassett (Brigat) of Evansville, Cary Bassett (Jodie) of Blue Springs, MO and Tiffany Clabaugh (Terry) of Casper; and his sisters, Halene Dinnel (Dinnel) of Casper and Sherrill Wagner (Bill) of Gilbert, AZ. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 18 step-great grand children, many nieces and nephews, and numerous "adopted" grandchildren in his church family.
