With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deborah Kay Shughart (Casper, Wyoming), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 25, 2025 at the age of 70. As we bid adieu to Deborah Kay's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Deborah Kay has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert J Johnson and Genevieve Johnson; her son Mark; and her niece Lexi Marie. She is survived by: her grandsons, Mark and Weylyn; her husband Bill; and her children, Shondell and Jordan Shughart of Casper, WY. She is also survived by her siblings and their children and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bustard & Jacoby Funeral Home (600 CY Ave, Casper, WY 82601). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church (520 CY Ave, Casper, WY 82601).
