She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Walker and Alida Walker; her daughter Susan Gibbs; her grandson Zac Gibbs; her brother Stewart Walker; and her stepbrother Sheldon Sage.
She is survived by: her sons, John of Buffalo, Scott Gibbs of Buffalo and Jim Gibbs (Jan) of Arvada; her sisters, Alida "Robin" Leist (Jim) of Del Norte and Anne Walker of Boston, Mass; her stepbrothers, Dean Sage of Florida and David Sage (Marica) of Story, Wyoming; her grandchildren, Tyler Gibbs (Lauren), K. J. White (Dario), Megan Gibbs and Marshall Gibbs; and her great grandchild Daejaun White.
Donations in Martha's memory may be made to the Jim Gatchell Museum in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo.
