He was predeceased by: his parents, Manley Otto and Ella Marie Plymell (Carter); and his son David Plymell. He is survived by: his daughter Kristi Gleason of Banner; his grandchildren, Kendra Main (Justin Bleak), Cory Main, Kyle Gleason, Nathan (Kourtni Plymell), Jena and Tyler Kelsey; and his brother Rodney. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

Donations in Manley's memory may be made to the St. Francis Animal Shelter in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo.
