Swanson of Buffalo, Wyoming, born in Bowman, North Dakota, who passed away on July 11, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Bagley and Ellen Bagley; her husband James "Blackie" Swanson; her daughters, Jan Swanson (Pierre Holland), Julie Unangst, Jodi Swanson and Jolene Musselman (Scott Musselman); her brother Dennis Bagley; and her grandchildren, Erik, Kelsi Unangst, Aubrie, James, Shea and Joe Musselman.
Donations in Joy's memory may be made to the Boys & Girls Club of the Big Horns in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo.
