He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas A. Knighten and Martha Rice Balden; his siblings, Patrick, Dallas, Daniel, Eva, Ruth and Elizabeth; and his granddaughter Crystal.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jane Brown; his daughter Laurel Elaine (Chris); his siblings, Earl, James and Martha; his children, David and Julie Myers (Lee); his grandchildren, Brandy Bond (Robert), Joshua, Joe Biggs, Nicole Biggs (Sage), Lee III, Eon and Dallas Myers; and his great grandchildren, Michael, James, Katelyn, Lilly Bond and Xander Quinney.
