It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Lea Dickerson of Buffalo, Wyoming, born in Gillette, Wyoming, who passed away on May 3, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Darcy Conklin of Sinclair, Wyoming, Dennis Dickerson (Lisa) of Edgerton and Brett Dickerson (Robin) of Plattsburg, Missouri; her brother Garry Dean Waggoner (Nancy) of Wagoner, Oklahoma; her siblings-in-law, Nancy Waggoner of Denton, Texas and John Eklund of Buffalo; her husband Dugal; her siblings, Duane and Jenny Lou; her son-in-law Vaughn Conklin; and her grandsons, Dugal and Daniel. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Bessie's best quote lately was regarding having to wear a mask during Covid, "this is a crock of %$#@", with which most of us would likely agree.
