She was predeceased by: her parents, Brandt Jensen and Josephine Jensen; her husband Henry Mitchell; and her brothers, James Jensen and Donald "Doc" Jensen.
She is survived by: her children, Dianna Crawford (Doug) and Tom Mitchell; her grandchildren, Amy Coen (Pat) and Ryan Crawford (Katie); and her great grandchildren, Kami Coen, Brennan Coen, Gus Crawford and Ella Crawford.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Kay's memory to the Boulder Community Center or the Museum of the Mountain Man.
