He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett "Ebb" Richie and Ellen Williams-Richie; his wife Barbara Richie; his sister Verla Sommers; his daughter Lynne Latham; and his grandson Garrett Bardin.
He is survived by: his daughter Carole; his brother Norm; and his grandchildren, Taylor 'Bardin Leingang, Mitch Latham, Ivy 'Latham Pazour, Jeptha, Devon, Trista and Cinch Richie. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
