Warren Sorensen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Warren Sorensen of Big Piney, Wyoming, who passed away on November 18, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Warren may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jo Sorensen; and his parents, Jeff Sorensen and Anna Sorensen. He is survived by: his children, Anna Marie Carrillo (Gilberto) of Big Piney, Marvin Sorensen (Ranae) of Big Piney, Scott Sorensen (Lani) of White Rock, NM, Timothy Sorensen (Krista) of Brighton, CO and Joseph Sorensen (Miranda) of Brighton, CO; and his brother Alvin Sorensen of Bancroft, NE. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law and 2 brothers in law.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Marbleton Senior Center (429 E 1st St, Big Piney, WY 83113).
Memorial contributions may be made to Peace Lutheran Church or to the Southwest Sublette County Pioneers Senior Center.
