He was predeceased by: his parents, Frankie Hawley and Patric Hawley; and his sons, Thomas and Richard Hawley. He is survived by: his wife Margy of Big Piney; his children, Chris Hawley (Carla) of LaBarge, WY, Robert Hawley (Lauri) of Peoria, AZ and Lori Green (Bryan) of Big Piney, WY; and his grandchildren, Mike Long (Kori), Richard Hawley, Christopher Hawley (Amber), Zane, Garrett, Peyton Hawley, Tory, Cody and Kinlee Green. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
