He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodney Bennett Sr. and Inez Wood Bennett; and his sisters, Mardell Bennett Fear, Dorothy Mae and Jackie.
He is survived by: his daughter Jackie Bennett Manning; his brother-in-law Buss Fear; his former wife LaRue Campbell; his wife Betty Fear; his children, Elyse Bartschi (Jeff), Jan, Bell, Amber McCullough (Michael), Mark Bennett, Grant Bennett (Rosi), Eric Bennett (Diane) and Corey Bennett (Melanie); and his stepchildren, Mark Fear (Mary), Susan Nessan (Doug) and John Fear (Jody). He is also survived by 17 Grandchildren; 3 Great-grandchildren.
