It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cleo Emelina Lucero of Beulah, Wyoming, born in Rainsville, New Mexico, who passed away on September 11, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elias Rivera and Victoria Rivera (Cruz); and her siblings, Frankie and Alice Garcia. She is survived by: her husband Ted Lucero Jr.; her friend Winnifred Reed; her children, Kathy Moreland (Brian), Sandra Johnson (Bob), Steve Lucero (Lorraine), Isabel Waddell (Bob) and Doris Hauf (Brett); and her siblings, Dora Sanchez, Evelyn Garrido, Abe Rivera, Jerry Rivera, George Rivera, Vince Rivera, Lawrence Rivera and Charles Garcia. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life and Mass arrangements are pending and due to the Covid-19 pandemic recommended preventions will be followed.
