He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Staley and Frances Staley; his siblings, Eugene and Janice; and his nephew Michael.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Peggy); his son Andrew (Genevieve); his grandchildren, Jonathan Staley, Trevor Miller and Desirae Simpson; his great grandchildren, Rayden and Lorrie of Cheyenne; and his siblings, Les Staley (Colleen), Richard Staley (Jo) and Joyce Hanson. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
