He was predeceased by: his parents, David L Kost and Ardeth D Kost (Morris); his wife Karen Kost; his brother David Joseph Kost (Joe); and his brother-in-law Glenn Rhoades.
He is survived by: his children, Margie Nicole "Niki" Paxton (Bowe) and Daniel "Paul" Kost Jr. (Kim); his stepdaughters, Amber Bretzman, Alisha Bretzman and April Bretzman; his siblings, Julianna Rhoades, Mary Sandvold (Al) and Kenneth Kost (Ken); his sister-in-law Nancy Kost; and his grandchildren, Destiny (Beedlebeak), William, David (Buddy), Patty (Doodlebug), AJ and Carter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Any donations to help with his funeral expenses can be made to his daughter, Niki Paxton, or his son Paul Kost.
