With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Merlin Arthur of Arapahoe, Wyoming, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Arthur and Elsie Arthur; his sons, Merlon Arthur and Miles Arthur; his grandparents, Michael and Letiticia Arthur; and his siblings, Leroy Lincoln, Bruce Armor, Clarence Athur, Michael Arthur, Patrick Arthur, Sr., Johnny G. Arthur, Dominic Arthur, Lucy L. Arthur, Carlita Brown and Marlene Sun Rhodes.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Merle Ty Arthur, James "Sonnie" Arthur, III, Robert Arthur, Nickerson Arthur, Patrick Arthur, Melinda Arthur, Melissa J. Arthur, Linda Arthur, Jessie M. Arthur, Ann Howell and Laurene Surrell; his grandchildren, Miles M. Arthur, Jordan Arthur, Oskar Surrell and Kanan Arthur; and his siblings, Simon Arthur, Jr., Simona Arthur and Rhonda Anderson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, adopted brothers and sisters.
A wake will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the St. Stephen's Catholic Church. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 at the Arapaho Catholic Cemetery (393 Left Hand Ditch Rd, Riverton, WY 82501).
