He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gantz Sr. and Margaret Gantz (Sipe); his granddaughters, Jeni Schmit and Jami Brown; and his great grandchild Gavin Reynolds.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Stinson (Alva); and his children, Randy Gantz (Barb) of Hulett, Twila Steben (Randy) of Torrington, Joe Gantz (Paula) of Alva, Carla Dorsett (Frank) of Hulett, Willard Gantz (Annette) of Moorcroft and Richard Gantz (Lisa) of Alva. He is also survived by his wife, six children and their spouses, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
