It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Daniel Adkins (Yawkey, West Virginia), who passed away on March 27, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. Adkins and Amelia Montcastle Adkins; his wife Eloise Dunlap Adkins; and his siblings, Kathleen, Lillian, Eloise, Pearl, Marie, Freer, Glenn, Bub and Sad.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Loftis (Butch) of Yawkey, Kathy Vandale (Bill) of Green Bank and Jeffrey Adkins of Yawkey; his grandchildren, Chad Loftis (Gail) of Yawkey and Susan Vandale; his great grandchild Tristan Loftis (Megan Brogan); and his siblings, Evelyn Oxley, Hazel Hill and Frank Adkins.
