He was predeceased by: his wife Sally Lynn; and his parents, Charles Adkins and Amelia Montcastle Adkins. He is survived by: his children, Michael Adkins, Mary McCallister (Paul) and Mendy Pemberton (Daryl); his sister Hazel Hill (Rick); and his grandchildren, Colin, Michelle, Gatlin, Siera, Sarah and Carson.
