He was predeceased by: his father Donald Anthony Pomeroy; his sister Mary Anne Pomeroy; his granddaughter Patience Johnson; his uncle Johnny Fennelly; and his aunt Ellen Nixdors.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Theresa Pomeroy (Fennelly) of Big Indian, NY.; his fiancée Wanda Barnes of Worthington; his daughters, Tonya Pittman (Duriel) of Salisbury, NC, Barbara Ann Pomeroy of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Jennifer Pomeroy (James) of Franklinton, NC; and his siblings, Barbara Pomeroy (Orville) of Jefferson, NY, Kathleen Pomeroy of Boiceville, NY, Emory Pomeroy of Boiceville, NY, Michael Pomeroy of Mt. Holly, NC and John Pomeroy of Mt. Tremper, NY. He is also survived by three stepchildren as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
